Fostoria Glass Co. opened in Fostoria, Ohio in 1887, but moved to Moundsville, Virginia four years later when they could not obtain enough gas in Fostoria. For a time they were the largest producers of hand-made glass in America. One of their main products was stem-ware but they also make the USA's first complete dinner service in glass.
